Quad.BE Selected as Top 3 at Draper Global Startup Competition
Quad.BE has been selected as one of the final Top 3 companies at the Draper Global Startup Competition x Incheon Startup Park, securing a KRW 100 million investment and the opportunity to participate in the 2026 “Meet the Drapers” finals in Silicon Valley, USA.
This achievement marks a meaningful first step for MOLDWORK as its potential was recognized not only in the Korean cosmetic packaging development market, but also in front of global investment networks and beauty industry partners.
A Meaningful Step Toward the Global Stage
The competition was hosted by the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and co-organized by Incheon Startup Park and Draper Startup House Korea.
Draper Startup House Korea is a global startup platform that supports Korean startups in global expansion, investment opportunities, and IR programs through its global entrepreneur network and investment-linked programs.
This competition was especially meaningful as Korea’s first Draper-linked global startup competition designed to directly connect promising Korean startups with global markets.
Startups from various fields, including biotech, beauty tech, and AI-based consumer goods, participated in the program. After a competitive preliminary round, 21 teams advanced to the final stage.
The final evaluation combined 50% judge evaluation and 50% on-site audience evaluation.
This made the competition not only a test of technological strength, but also a stage to validate market empathy and public appeal.
MOLDWORK: A Digital Transformation Platform for Cosmetic Packaging Manufacturing
At the competition, Quad.BE presented MOLDWORK, a digital transformation solution for cosmetic packaging manufacturing.
MOLDWORK is a digital workflow platform built to solve repeated inefficiencies between cosmetic brands and packaging manufacturers throughout the product development process.
Even today, many cosmetic packaging workflows still rely heavily on manual work and offline communication.
Brands search for containers, check part compatibility with manufacturers, review design options, request physical samples, ask for revised quotes, and exchange manufacturing documents through repeated communication.
MOLDWORK aims to connect these fragmented steps in one digital environment.
Packaging and component search
Compatible part combination
Real-time 3D simulation
Instant cost estimation
Automated manufacturing specifications and documents
Through these features, MOLDWORK helps brands and manufacturers collaborate faster and more accurately across the cosmetic packaging development workflow.
This Top 3 selection confirmed the potential of the problem MOLDWORK is solving — and the direction we are building toward — in a broader global market context.
Securing a Business Review Opportunity with LG Household & Health Care
Each of the Top 3 selected companies secured a KRW 100 million investment.
The selected companies also earned the opportunity to participate in the 2026 “Meet the Drapers” global program finals in Silicon Valley, along with follow-up investment opportunities.
In addition, Quad.BE secured a priority business collaboration review opportunity with LG Household & Health Care, one of Korea’s leading beauty and consumer goods companies.
This is an important milestone as MOLDWORK continues to move forward with its business direction of digitally transforming cosmetic packaging development workflows.
It also represents a meaningful opportunity to expand our touchpoints with leading beauty companies in Korea and grow as a platform that solves real problems in the industry.
From Korea to the Global Market
The problem MOLDWORK is solving is not limited to the Korean cosmetic market.
Across the global beauty industry, product launch cycles are becoming shorter, and faster, more accurate collaboration between brands and manufacturers is becoming increasingly important.
Repeated physical sampling, manual communication, and inefficient manufacturing handoffs are challenges shared by many companies across markets.
Through our Top 3 selection at the Draper Global Startup Competition, Quad.BE confirmed the global expansion potential of MOLDWORK.
We will continue building MOLDWORK as a platform that leads the digital transformation of cosmetic packaging development — connecting brands and manufacturers through a more efficient, accurate, and digital workflow.
